Rules & Regulations
1.0 Eligibility
​
Any registered member on our site with a cellular phone camera from anywhere around the world is invited to participate in the Cellular Masterpiece™ art 4 art Gallery. Void where prohibited by law.
​
All work submitted must be original and must not have been published, shared on social media or submitted to another competition prior to submitting to the Cellular Masterpiece™ art 4 art Gallery competition.
​
Employees and Curators of the Cellular Masterpiece™ art 4 art Gallery are not permitted to enter.
​
The Cellular Masterpiece™ art 4 art Gallery Contest is not valid in any countries, states or provinces where rules translation, registration or bonding are required, and are non-valid where prohibited.
​
Entries by a minor under the age of 18 must be submitted by their parent or legal guardian.
​
The Cellular Masterpiece™ art 4 art Gallery Contest reserves the right to change or modify the rules and regulations at their discretion. We will strive to notify entrants of such changes via email or on this website.
2.0 Closing Deadline
​
Entries must be confirmed (i.e, uploaded and paid-for) before a competition's closing deadline in order to qualify for judging.
​
Cellular Masterpiece™ art 4 art reserves the rights to modify and/or extend the closing deadlines of all its contests. We will strive to notify entrants of such changes via email or on this website.
​
Once entry is confirmed via email, the entry is officially in the competition and cannot be withdrawn. Submission fees are non-refundable.
No late entries will be accepted.
3.0 Image Specifications

images must be original images captured with a cell phone in-built camera.
-
Images must be in JPEG/JPG format
-
images uploaded cannot be more than 25MB (assure that your original image is high resolution as specified below.
If you are selected as one of the finalists to get final acceptance, you will be be required to submit a high resolution image as follows:
Unmodified Images
-
Unmodified original raw Image must be 43.333 inches x 58.444 inches at 72 resolution (most smart cameras set on the highest quality setting will take this size. This is the same as 4208 pixels x 3120 pixels)
Modified images

Modified images must be 350 Resolution
-
Modified images must be No more than 7553 pixels on the long side
-
Modified images must be No less than 5600 pixels on the short side
We recommend taking your photos with the highest resolution and largest size possible with your camera.
Note: If you do not know if your image is the correct size, we can determine that for you for a $ 5.00 service fee paid through paypal) Email us your original photo to: sizecheck@cellularmasterpiece.com

Color space should be RGB or sRGB.

Images must not have border, marks or logos identifying the artists.
-
Post-processing work may be done in-camera or on a computer.

Collage and montage artworks are acceptable, provided all elements in the original artwork have been captured with a cell phone in-built camera.

There are no restriction on the make or model of mobile phone that may be used
Note: Original mobile phone image will be requested in order to verify that your images meet our images specifications.
Other Requirements:

A Title for your entry is necessary.

A caption with a comment as to what inspired you is optional.
-
You must submit a the link to a YouTube song and the artist that you feel will enhance the mood of viewing your cell photo art.

Date and Location image was captured must be included
4.0 Image Creation
-
There are no restrictions on the date of the images.
-
Only unpublished artworks are eligible.
-
Editing is not necessary, but if it is part of the finished product, it must have been performed by the photographer and no-one else.

At the Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Gallery we believe that the editing is as important as the photography itself and we want to encourage and celebrate your creativity and skills. If you do not have the skills, this may be a great time to learn something new.
5.0 Image Modification
​
Once selected as a winner, the Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Gallery reserves the right to print and modify the finish and size of the photograph and to crop the photograph to accommodate gallery products and services as needed.
6.0 Categories and Competitions
​
Images must conform to the thematic descriptions of the categories into which they are entered. The categories are as follows:

An image may be entered into multiple categories within the same competition, provided they conform with the theme of each category. A separate entry and fee must be entered for each category.

The Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Gallery has full discretion to disqualify and remove cell photo art which is deemed to contain obscene, defamatory or otherwise objectionable content.
7.0 Winners / Award Prizes
The contest will have one first place winner in each genre and one (1) overall grand prize winner will be selected from the first place winners.

Contest winners will be notified via email and winning images and the winners may be featured in our online winners galleries and promotional materials.
​
The prize winners will receive a 1099 for their earnings and are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on prizes.
​
Winners agree to relinquish all rights to their winning submission to the Cellular Masterpiece™ art 4 art Gallery and winning entries become the property of the Cellular Masterpiece™ art 4 art Gallery. The Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Gallery will provide an opportunity to the winners to earn a percentage of the sales as outlined in the Prizes section.
​
Winners will assure all digital copies of the photo submitted, in their possession and which they have shared, have been destroyed and the winner will submit a notarized document attesting that all digital files of the photograph they submitted have been destroyed.
​
There are no alternatives to the stated prizes. In the event that the selected winner(s) of any prize is ineligible or refuses the prize, the prize will be forfeited and the Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Gallery at its sole discretion, may choose whether to award the prize to another entrant.
​
Award Prizes
​
The grand prize winner will win $1000.00 in addition to a 15% commission of the merchandise profits for the duration the work is on display up to one year no more than 60 days after the exhibit closes.
The Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Contest reserves the rights to decide not to nominate top placings for selected categories.
First place winners will receive an award certificate from CMG acknowledging their win and will automatically be curated into the 2023 exhibit. They will receive a 10% commission on merchandize profits for the duration the work is on display up to one year no more than 60 days after the exhibit closes.
All others selected for exhibition will receive 5% commission on merchandize profits for the duration the work is on display up to one year no more than 60 days after the exhibit closes.

The Grand Prize winner will be chosen from the pool of first place category winners.
​
8.0 Fee Payment
Each entry must be submitted seperately and is non-refundable. The 2022 contest donation fees to submit each entry are:

Early Bird: $15

Upon official call for entries period (TBD): $25

Last two weeks of call for entries: $35
-
Fees are specified for single entries. All fees are in USD.

Payment must be made online via Paypal. You are able to use major credit cards through PayPal.
-
Upaid entries are not qualified for judging and will not be considered.
-
Once you submit your entry, your and paid appropriate fee, it is officially in the competition.

Your donation fee is going to a good cause.
9.0 Judging Process
​
All Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Galley contests will undergo a 'blind judging' in which judges are not aware of any information about the authorship of entries.
Judging for each competition will comprise of two phases:
​
(1) initial screening
​
In this first phase of judging, the Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art staff will do the screening. The objective of this initial selection is to ensure that submissions meet a minimum level of technical quality and conform to the conditions set out in the Images section of our "Image Specifications" in order to the submission will be able to be printed in high resolution.
​
Submissions that pass the initial screening will be forwarded to the competition's first phase panel of judges for scoring.
​
(2) judge preliminary scoring
​
Each entry will get scored using the judging criteria below with 1 being the lowest score and the maximum score possible being a 10.

All who get a score of 85 or above will become finalists.

(3) finalists judging
​
Scores will be wiped clean and a new set of judges will score the finalists to determine the final winners.
​
In the finals one winner will be selected in each genre and the judges will select the overall grand prize winner from the genre winners. The same scoring system will be used.
​
In the event of ties, a gallery will be created on Social Media for a 'Public Voting' round of competition. In this event, anyone with on the Social Media selected can vote but only one vote is allowed per person.
The winner of each 'Public Voting' round of competition is determined purely from the number of "hearts" at the closing of the 'Public Voting'.
The decisions of the Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Gallery staff are final.
10.0 Copyrights & Releases
By entering the contest, you, the participant warrant that submitted cell photo art has been created by you, and that you own all necessary rights to use the cell photo art for participating in The Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Gallery Contest. In particular, you warrant that the cell photo art does not violate or infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and no other party has any rights, claim or interest in the cell photo art image.
Cell photo art that fails to comply with these copyrights conditions will be disqualified.

If a third party raises objections to the ownership of the right of the photo, the entry will automatically be disqualified. Submitted photos which fail to comply with these conditions will be disqualified.
By submitting to this competition, the winners of the competition agree to relinquish all rights of their photo to Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art in perpetuity without further permissions or remuneration’s .

The winners agree to make every effort to remove all copies of the winning image from all computers and phones from where they created the image and any copies they may have shared with others.
​
11.0 Third-party Releases/Licenses
​
Upon the Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Gallery request, each entrant must be prepared to provide a signed written personal release (i.e., model release forms) from all recognizable individuals featured in submitted cell photo art, authorizing Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art to reproduce, distribute, display and create derivative works of the competition entry in connection with and promotion of the Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Gallery contest, in any media now or hereafter in perpetuity. Please do not submit model release forms unless requested.
In addition, upon the Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Gallery request, each entrant must be prepared to provide a signed written license from the copyright owner of cell photo art or other copyrighted material that appears in the submitted contest entry, authorizing us to reproduce, distribute, display and create derivative works of the cell photo art in connection with and promotions of the Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Gallery Contest.

Failure to provide such releases upon request may result in disqualification and forfeiture.
12.0 Other Legal Conditions
The Cellular Masterpiece, art 4 art Gallery competitions are subjected to federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Cell photo art may be disqualified if they do not meet all of the above conditions.
The prize winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on any prizes or revenues earned.

There are no alternatives to the stated prizes. In the event that the selected winner(s) of any prize are/is ineligible or refuses the prize, the prize will be forfeited and the Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Gallery at its sole discretion, may choose whether to award the prize to another entrant.

The Cellular Masterpiece, art 4 art Gallery reserves the right to change or modify the rules and regulations at its discretion.
13.0 Limitations of Liability
The Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Gallery will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury, whatsoever, suffered or sustained by any person or entity that results from or arises out of submissions to any Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art contest. The entrant indemnifies the Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Gallery, any of our subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, officers, suppliers, vendors, against any loss, damages, costs or claims arising out of a breach of the Terms and Conditions by the entrant.
The Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Gallery assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure, theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to competition entries or entry forms; or alteration of entries or entry forms.

The Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Gallery is not responsible for any problems with or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, human errors of any kind, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrants' or any other persons' computers related to or resulting from participation, uploading or downloading of any materials related to the Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Gallery contest.
The Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Galley will strive to keep participant's data confidential, and their email addresses or other personal data will only be used to contact the contestants and/or for the promotion of products and services of the Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Gallery and its subsidiary companies.
By entering the contest, contestant agrees to hold harmless i-World Productions, Producer Shed, the Cellular Masterpiece art 4 art Gallery, any of our subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, officers, suppliers, vendors, from any and all liability.
